Some comments from our Guest Book

"We have found this a magical place. We have seen dolphins from the peninsula, sharks at Neist Point, Golden Eagles in Glen Brittle Forest and seal and red deer all over."

"Absolutely wonderful holiday. Cottage very comfortable, the view is fantastic. Wildlife is fantastic - seen eagles nearly every day."

"A lovely cottage in beautiful, stunning scenery. A very comfortable stay. We enjoyed watching the views of the mountains from the lounge."

"A lovely cottage with stunning views from the windows in the lounge. Love seeing all the wildlife."

"Very well equipped and ideal location for climbing in the majestic Cuillin."

"We had a great holiday there and couldn't believe how close we were to the mountains - virtually on the doorstep!  The Lodge was very comfortable and provided a great base plus all the comforts of home.  We would really like to return another time and stay for longer."

"A very well appointed holiday cottage with the additional bonus of a great selection of books, DVD's and board games. The photographs do not do this property justice. The location is superb, although we did experience a fabulous fortnight of near perfect weather. The location is made for those that love the thrill of the outdoors: rock climbing, Munro climbing, mountain biking, sea kayaking and even surfing are all possible from the door of this cottage."

"Amazing location - right at the foot of the Cuillin mountains and 15 mins walk to the beach. Accommodation spot, on clean, comfortable and well equipt. Had a week of sunshine which is quite unbelievable at Easter."

"Stayed for a week in August 2011 with my husband and two teenage daughters. The property is off the beaten track with a few other houses nearby. We loved the peace and tranquillity and the stunning views over the mountains when sitting in the living room. No mobile phone signal (which for me was a bonus). It was a novelty for my daughter to call her boyfriend from a payphone close by. Property is very well maintained and really well equipped. It was a bonus having a DVD player and lots of books to read when the weather was not so good and it was very changeable! We ate in a few times and it had everything we needed. 10 minutes walk to the beach and 15 minutes walk to the waterfall (opposite the Youth Hostel). A car is essential, we toured all around the island and found it stunning. Make sure you walk up to the fairy pools (10 minutes from Glenbrittle by car). We also enjoyed visiting Portree, Uig, Dunvegan, Mallaig and lots more. Loved the arts and crafts and walking on the island. We enjoyed a boat trip from Kyle of Lochalsh (just over the bridge) and we saw seals and sea birds. I was worried my daughters would be bored but as one is a photographer she loved it and my other daughter enjoyed walking and exploring. We would definitely like to return in the future and highly recommend this property."

Fabulous cottage and location...the Isle of Skye is a must visit location and Cuillin Lodge provides the perfect base to explore the island.
